D N HONORI-VS P F AVG Pearl-diademed, helmeted and cuirassed bust of Honorius facing, his head turned slightly to right, holding spear in his right hand and with a shield, decorated with a horseman spearing a fallen foe, over his left shoulder; on breastplate, a cross. Rev. CONCORDI-A AVGG / COMOB Constantinopolis, helmeted and head to right, seated facing on throne, holding scepter in her right hand and Victory on globe in her left and placing her right foot on a prow. Depeyrot 45/2. RIC 38. Rare. A lustrous, clear and very attractive example of typical, somewhat crude Thessalonian style. Very light die wear on the obverse, otherwise, good extremely fine.
